Temple Student Government Member Discusses Proposal to Provide Recovery Housing Close to Temple

George Basile, a junior at Temple University, joined Gino Amato and Taylor Allen on Rational Radio to discuss his Temple Student Government parliament bill.

Basile is leading the charge to expand recovery housing options for Temple students. Currently, Temple provides certain floors in its residence halls for individuals going through drug or alcohol rehabilitation. The closest recovery house to Temple’s campus is located in South Philadelphia. This bill seeks to provide recovery housing that is closer and more convenient for Temple students.
