WHIP’s own Zach Gelb and Ray Boyd brought you the station’s first ever broadcast of Temple Football’s annual Cherry and White game. The kickoff of the Temple Football season marked the beginning of the Matt Rhule era. Students, faculty, and alumni enjoyed a tailgate and some great football with big plays from QB front runner, Connor Reilly. Zach and Ray were joined by several key figures from Temple football including Temple Athletic Director Bill Bradshaw, former Temple Kicker and current NFL prospect Brandon McManus, former Temple OL and current NFL prospect Martin Wallace, former Temple TE and current Chicago Bear Steve Maneri, and former Temple kicker Cap Poklemba.
