Tonight, EDM sensation Flux Pavilion will be taking over the Fillmore in Philadelphia with support from KAYZO and G-Buck. This show will be one of the most anticipated stops on Flux Pavilion’s Around the World in 80 Raves Tour, and is sure to be a night to remember for Philadelphia. With a spectacular light show, an explosive stage set-up, and music loud enough to shake the entire venue, this is not a show to miss.
Flux Pavilion is the creation of Joshua Steele, a 28-year-old English DJ, producer, and singer-songwriter performing under the name since 2008. Since its inception, Flux Pavilion has headlined numerous US and UK tours and has played several DJ sets at world famous music festivals like Glastonbury, Reading, and Coachella. Steele released a two-song EP in February with the songs “Pull the Trigger,” and “Cut Me Out” to critical acclaim.
The Fillmore is Philadelphia’s newest large-scale venue, being built out of the remains of an old warehouse in the city’s Fishtown district. Boasting an impressive 2,500-person capacity, the Fillmore has hosted some of the largest acts to come through Philadelphia in years, such as Tegan and Sara, Reel Big Fish, Modern Baseball, and Young the Giant. In addition to the large space downstairs, the Fillmore also has a club within a club on the second floor of the venue, the 450-person capacity Foundry, which hosts smaller shows, and has a large bar and VIP area.
