Temple is Tinder’s Swipe Off Contest Winner

On November 13th, Temple University was graced with a show by Glorilla and Gunna. Both artists have been on the rise in the modern hip-hop and rap genre. This show was sponsored by Tinder, where they conducted a Tinder Swipe Contest, awarding the campus with the most swipes a free concert.
Glorilla delivered an electrifying set that showcased her fierce stage presence and undeniable energy. The crowd was hyped as she ran through hits like “F.N.F.” and “Tomorrow 2” (featuring Cardi B). Her charisma is infectious, and she knows exactly how to work a crowd, effortlessly moving from one track to the next while keeping the audience locked in. Her performance was a reminder of how far she’s come, and how much her distinctive sound and delivery have resonated with fans across the country. She also had visually engaging backup dancers to elevate he performance.
Glorilla
Gunna also had the crowd in the palm of his hand with his signature melodic flow. His set was more laid-back compared to Glorilla’s high-octane performance, but still filled with hits that had the whole arena vibing. His addition of pyrotechnics during “Hot” elevated his performance as well. Tracks like “Drip Too Hard” and “Pushin P” had the crowd rapping along in unison, proving that Gunna’s appeal is as strong as ever despite the controversies that have surrounded him in recent years.

The Tinder Swipe Contest added a fun, interactive event during a dull time on campus. Students were able to engage with a playful challenge. Together, the contest and the live performances blended entertainment, music, and interaction in a way that perfectly tapped into the youthful energy of college campuses in social media-driven world. It was truly a night full of unforgettable fun and excitement!
