Molly Grace, self-proclaimed “pop-funk princess” performed at the Foundry in Philadelphia, on Friday, February 21. Exuding pure confidence and bubbly energy, she made the night feel like a Valentine’s Day for self-love and femininity.
Fans, for the most part, were dressed in glittery outfits in a range of vibrant pinks, as they sang aloud with Chappell Roan hits and did the Hot-To-Go choreography in sync, waiting for the show to begin.

Claire Ernst, a sing-songwriter based in Nashville, opened the show with her jazz and R&B-inspired pop and stunning vocals. Sharing personal anecdotes and fun facts about her songs throughout the setlist, Ernst created a relatable and relaxed connection to the audience.
At first, there were some technical difficulties resulting in Ernst re-starting her opening song. Ernst asked the audience, “Can we start over?” and they didn’t miss a beat to respond, “You got this!”
Claire Ernst seemed to find her stage confidence as she lost herself in the music. Eyes closed, vocal riffs effortlessly spilled out of her, adding an emotional warmth to the space. Her passion for the music was evident through her facial expressions as her fingers danced on the keyboard. This was especially true as she played “Flowers.” It’s “one of my favorite songs I’ve ever made,” said Ernst.
Ernst shared a brand-new song, “Funny Now,” which is set to be her next single. As for the inspiration behind it, she shared that she wrote it the day after this past presidential election. The song received an abundantly positive response from the audience.
Building on the excitement from Claire Ernst’s fabulous set, eyes were glued to the stage’s side doors, waiting for the moment Molly Grace would walk out.
Molly Grace creatively began her set through a radio announcement bit, while staying hidden from sight. The audience laughed and buzzed with anticipation; phones ready to capture her entrance.

The moment Molly Grace stepped out, she launched into her first song; singing and dancing in her pink sequined mini dress, sparkly tights, and platform heels. Her energetic, strong, and confident voice filled the venue and had the whole crowd hooked from the first pitch to the encore.
Her confidence and joy for singing transcended the stage and encapsulated the audience. With every song, the crowd carefully sang along, creating a welcoming and positive atmosphere for everyone.
“When I was thinking about what to play on this set for these East Coast shows, I knew I wanted to try out a lot of new songs because the East Coast are my girls,” said Grace. “So, when playing these new songs, feel free to cheer really loud if you like them…and cheer really loud if you don’t.”
The audience was ecstatic to hear Molly Grace sing her upcoming single, “Mad at Her Forever” which will be officially released on March 7. In addition, her new single, “FEMME” has gained much traction since it was released on January 10. Already it has gained much traction, surpassing 1 million streams on Spotify. “FEMME” signifying the words: Fabulous, Enticing, Magnetic, Magical, Everything, certainly captures the fun feminine charm of Molly Grace and her music.
Fans left the Foundry with big smiles, sparkling with the confident and F.E.M.M.E. energy of Molly Grace.
