Help WHIP continue to grow
WHIP, an acronym that stands for We Have Infinite Potential, is Temple’s student-run internet radio station. With the help and generosity of the Division of Student Affairs and Computer Services, WHIP was revived as an internet station in the Tech Center in 2006 after a brief stint as a low-power FM station from 2000-01. WHIP has grown tremendously since then to provide a voice for students — but there’s still work to be done. While we have quality radio equipment now, we are always looking to improve our tools at the station to help educate students of certain systems that are used in the real world of radio. Your donation could help send our students on the road to broadcast a sporting event, equip the studio with new equipment or allow us to build a budget that will someday help us pay our students for the work they do. Any donation large or small will send our students on their way to building a radio station Temple and its graduates can be proud of. Please consider clicking on the iHeart link to listen to our station or find us on our social media pages to get updates about what our students are doing on a daily basis.
