Drake Releases New Single “5AM in Toronto”

There’s no way I am the only one who heard Drake’s new single right? Well if you didn’t hear it, it’s a must. Drake dropped the second single for his upcoming album, “Nothing was the Same.” “5AM in Toronto” has a usual “everyone hates me” type of sound but with a little more punch added to this track. I won’t ruin this song for anyone who hasn’t listened to it yet but Drizzy hits some pretty tough punchlines. “You probably wouldn’t lose a single rapper” and “I made Forbes list, n—a / F–k your list, everything’s lookin’ gorgeous.” This punch line is probably in reference to Drake making MTV’s hottest MC list at number 5 and a disappointing Kanye with a number 7 on the list. He also takes jabs at haters and mentions multiple lines about Chris Brown that you have to catch in order to understand what he’s inferring. Drake is really showing his talent in this song.
