BY: Anthony Pearson, Long Story Short
Have you heard of Alzheimer’s? Most people have – many even have experiences with the disease in a loved one. Strangely enough, far fewer people are aware of the true gravity of the problem the disease presents our society. On this brief episode of Long Story Short, we visit the Alzheimer Association’s “Longest Day” fundraiser in Philadelphia.
Check back in later this summer for more detailed discussions about Alzheimer’s disease and care. It’s a big problem that’s not going anywhere without a lot of work.
