REVIEW: Daniel Caesar at The Met

Last night, the city of Philadelphia witnessed a musical extravaganza like no other, as Montell
Fish opened for Daniel Caesar and both of them graced the stage with their unparalleled talents.
The atmosphere was electric with fans buzzing in anticipation of the performances to come.
Montell Fish, with his soulful and introspective lyrics, kicked off the night with his heartrending
track, “Pretend Lovers” The crowd was immediately captivated, singing along and swaying to
the rhythm. Montell’s rendition of Miguel’s “Sure Thing” was nothing short of spectacular,
igniting the audience into a frenzy of cheers and applause.
As Montell celebrated his birthday on stage, the crowd’s love for him reached a fever pitch. The
raw emotion in his delivery of “and i’d go a thousand miles” resonated deeply with fans, many of
whom seemed to know every word to his songs. The pulsating lights only added to the intensity
