Anthony Simuro – Assistant General Manager

Anthony Simuro is from Holmdel, New Jersey and has had a passion for radio his entire life. Listening to the Breakfast Club on Power 105.1 driving to high school every morning was how he started his day. Now Simuro is a host on Powerhour Muzik, as well as being the Assistant General Manager of the station.

Simuro is a junior here at Temple University, majoring in Media Studies and Production. This is Anthony’s second semester at WHIP radio. Simuro has experience working within audio production through involvements with Temple University Television, Owls Sports Update and internship experience he gained working with an up and coming record label in Philadelphia.

Simuro’s passion for music is what drives him to excel here at WHIP radio and he is hoping to do whatever he can to improve WHIP radio’s reputation not only on campus, but nationally as well. Having worked with musicians around Philadelphia, Anthony has a strong understanding of the music culture in Philly and wants WHIP radio to represent the local sounds as well as the sounds people know and love.
