Will Smith and Martin Lawrence Confirm Bad Boys 3 is Official

The “Bad Boys” series will indeed be a trilogy. Will Smith confirmed as much with a video on his Instagram page on Thursday along with his co-star in the film, Martin Lawrence. “It’s official Bad Boys 3 is happening, it’s official,” Smith said during the video from the Santa
Monica Beach in California.
According to Deadline.com, production is scheduled to start on the film in mid-January with Belgian Directors Adil El Arbi & Bilall Fallah. Arbi and Fallah will take over the series from Michael Bay, who directed the first two films.
The first Bad Boys film came out in 1995, and the franchise has gone on to gross over $400 Million worldwide according to the website Box Office Mojo and was one of the first movies that launched Smith’s career as an action star.
According to US Magazine, a TV spinoff of the Bad Boys series starring Jessica Alba and Gabrielle Union, reprising her role from Bad Boys II called “LA Finest” has been picked up by Canadian broadcaster Bell Media. NBC initially passed on the pilot this May.
The working title for Bad Boys III is “Bad Boys for Life” and its set to hit theaters on January
